Zoe Brooks, CEO & Science Officer
AWEsome Numbers was founded on a simple belief: the statistical quality control science that transformed laboratory medicine remains essential — but today’s laboratories require greater operational visibility and stronger risk-based decision making.
Since beginning their collaboration in 2008, Zoe Brooks, Raymond Gerz, and the AWEsome Numbers team have been dedicated to helping laboratories build on proven QC methodologies while meeting the evolving risk-management expectations of CAP, CLIA, ISO 15189, and CLSI EP23.
With Zoe’s 50+ year career spanning histology, clinical chemistry, laboratory management, and QC software design, the team brings unmatched depth to every algorithm, every report, and every decision RiskGATOR helps you make.
Raymond Gerz, CTO & Director of Product
With over 20 years of expertise as a software developer and full stack developer in industries such as healthcare, education, travel, real estate, union and professional services, Raymond Gerz has developed membership, accounting, web-app and SaaS solutions.
Raymond began his h-tech journey doing contract work developing VBA macros for complex Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and small Visual Basic apps. With very little Visual Basic experience, he successfully debugged an extremely complicated, mission-critical Visual Basic app for a real-estate board. He also developed modules and integrations for a popular membership and accounting system using Visual Basic and VBA. Ray has shown a high level of adaptability and creativity during his career, being able to quickly learn new technologies, programming languages and concepts.
As a co-founder of AWEsome Numbers Inc., Raymond is focused on building out the Quality and Risk Management platform, which includes a Quality Engine and other advanced technologies.
Kerry, COO & AI Specialist
Kerry Allan is a Canadian technology entrepreneur, product strategist, and longtime web hosting professional with broad experience spanning internet infrastructure, software, servers, artificial intelligence, and digital business.
He is currently involved in the development and commercialization of RiskGATOR, a clinical laboratory quality-management platform that uses advanced analytics and AI to help laboratories identify risk, improve quality processes, and support better patient care. Kerry contributes to product strategy, AI development, commercialization, marketing, and corporate planning.
He is also the founder of HostSecure, a next-generation web hosting management platform combining automation, security, performance, monitoring, backups, and billing in an integrated environment.
Kerry’s work increasingly focuses on practical AI implementation and how experienced domain specialists can use AI tools to develop and commercialize products more efficiently. His approach combines technical understanding, business strategy, and a willingness to challenge established industry practices in search of simpler, more effective solutions.
